Wherever you go, whatever you do, whoever you interact with...
Try to leave a plus.
Never leave a room, a situation, or a place less than when you entered into it. Always leave it better.
If you always strive to bring love, kindness, and compassion to any place you go -- a smile, a kind word, a thoughtful gesture, a loving touch, a helpful hand -- when you leave this world you will be content knowing that you have left a PLUS.
To leave anything better than when you started, is the only way to lead a meaningful and fulfilling existence. It's not what you have, or what you do, or what you own, that matters... it matters that you always leave a plus.
And that will add up to a life well lived. And a heart well loved.
I love you my babies, more than anything in the world. You are both my PLUS.

You are so brave
Dear Cooper and Everlie,
I miss you. I miss scooping you up in my arms and hugging and kissing you and singing you to sleep. I can only imagine what being away from me feels like as a child. I know, I would have been lost when I was your age without my mom. You are being so brave. And bravery at your age will take you far. You are learning things you shouldn't have to learn at your age. And I am so sorry for that. But it is okay to cry. To let your emotions out. You don't have to hold them in. You can say how you feel. You can feel how you feel. I can only say, that I am working hard. Harder than you know to get healthy and come home. It is all I want for you and our family. I hope you both know how deep my love is for you and everything I do, I do for you. I do it all for you, and for our family.
You are shining lights, my babies, my perfect angels.
You are my shining lights to come home to.
I miss you desperately and I love you.
Your mommy,

To My babies
You will never know how much I miss you.
And how much I long to hold you in my arms.
It's lonely without your smile and hugs to fill me up.
I'm sorry I'm not there with you right now. I am doing all that I can to get through this, get off these drugs and come home a full, happy, HEALTHY person.
I love you my babies.
Cooper -- you are so very special. You leave a sparkle in my heart and soul.
Everlie -- you are so very innocent and perfect and I cannot wait to give you my full soul.
You are both the most amazing things that have ever happened to your father and me. We love you. I would marry your dad all over again. And I would go through everything I've gone through and more to bring you into this world. And if anything that I'm going through right now, has a purpose, it is going to make me a stronger, more compassionate, mother --- who will be able to teach you and give you so much guidance in this world. After this is behind me, my purpose will be to make sure this costly lesson, serves as a light to others. But mostly to you, my children. Showing you, that ANYTHING is possible. That you can overcome anything. Even when odds seems stacked against you. Trust yourself. Trust your body. Reach out for and accept help. And never, not EVER, give up.
Life is going to be wonderful again.
I promise.
Love, mommy. xooxx

Keep Walking
Sometimes, in life, you may not know where your going, or have any idea how to get to where you want to go. You see the destination, you know what it is that you want, but you can't get to it. You can't see the map. And you feel lost.
The best advice I can give you in this situation is to keep walking. Movement is necessary. Even if it is the wrong way, it will always lead you to the next step in the process. Trust that your path, and life, even struggle, is leading you somewhere that you need to go. And all you need to do is merely keep walking. Each clue, each new turn will reveal itself to you as it unfolds.
So take those steps. Even the one's that you aren't confident about, even the one's that seem unsure, and yes, even the one's that seem the hardest or scariest of all. Each step is leading you closer to where you need to be. The answers won't always be revealed in order. The sequence isn't always linear or easy to make sense of. But trust that life unfolds in time, in exactly the right way, if you just keep walking.
Don't stand still.
Movement is vital.
Pick up your chin and keep walking.

Wriiten by a 90 year old
7% Written by a 90 year old
I can't take credit for this one, but I hope one day I can write my own similar list. I believe her advice is exactly some of the things I might write. Take head. If someone who has lived 90 years is telling you this about life, it's probably true.
1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short – enjoy it.
4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and family will.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don't have to win every argument. Stay true to yourself.
7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye, but don't worry, God never blinks.
16.. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful. Clutter weighs you down in many ways.
18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
19.. It's never too late to be happy. But it’s all up to you and no one else .
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
24. The most important sex organ is the brain.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'
27. Always choose life.
28. Forgive
29. What other people think of you is none of your business.
30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.
31.. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
33. Believe in miracles.
34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.
35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
36. Growing old beats the alternative of dying young.
37. Your children get only one childhood.
38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.
41. Envy is a waste of time. Accept what you already have , not what you need!
42. The best is yet to come...
43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
44. Yield.
45. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift."

Never Give Up
Even when ALL odds are stacked against you. Even when you can not see any light in the path ahead. Even when you think that all hope is truly lost. You must never give up.
To never give up doesn't mean that you have to fight hard, but you must keep going. You must keep walking, reminding yourself that even though you do not know what is coming -- you choose to believe that everything will work out.
When I was little, my favorite poem was a poem about not giving up. I did not know, at the time, how much it would come to mean to me. It is a beautiful poem, about never quitting. Because, truly, you never know how close you are....
DON'T QUIT
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won if he'd stuck it out.
Don't give up, though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup,
And he learned too late, when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are -
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.
I love you more than words,
Your mommy xo

The truth of Nature
Nature is beautiful. And it speaks truth.
Spring follows even the longest winters.
Flowers bloom from even the most frozen ground.
Birds fly south and then return home.
Baby animals are born.
The stream flows down, around the rocks, and trickles back into the lakes and oceans.
The sun comes out.
The rain falls.
The wind blows.
The world turns and the sun glows.
The breath renews the body.
Air, sunlight, food, exercise, family, and LOVE.
They heal and nourish and help us grow.
Nature is pure truth, the way it is supposed to work, untouched perfectly balanced. Time. Seasons. Birth. Death. Rebirth. Growth.
It is like that with us too.
So when you feel like giving up, when you need some inspiration, when you are trying to find balance and restore your soul -- look no further than the world around you.
Time heals. Seasons change. Spring, always comes.
Balance restores itself.
